The Duchy Auction Company, Falmouth
The first auction house to be in Falmouth, Cornwall since the 1950's is set to open with a cracking first sale on Saturday 24th September 2016 which includes the extremely rare complete 18th Century 'Cities of London and Westminster, THE Borough of Southwark WITH The Country near ten Miles round' by John Rocque, engraved by Richard Parr. Together with a first edition copy of the sought after book 'The Ship That Sailed To Mars' by William M. Timlin, a Balloon Post L.Z. Hindenburg letter dated 18.06.36, a fine 19th Century whalebone cane, over 6000 stamps dating from the early 19th Century (many of German origin), a private collection of 21 scratch build model ships, there should be keen interest.
