Design Collective - Second year students from the BA(Hons) Sustainable Product Design, at Falmouth University, will be exhibiting their design work at The Poly from Fri 28th April to Wed 3rd May 2017. The course explores how design is a powerful tool to help us understand the real needs of people and create positive change.
All the projects on display demonstrate 12 weeks of intensive design development, working to a brief negotiated with businesses and outside organisations. A range of local project partners and businesses across the UK have been involved in the projects and provided excellent feedback and mentoring to the students. In addition, work developed for a range of national and international design competitions will be exhibited. Many of the students have developed innovative fireside accessories for Bodj, a fair trade division of A.J Wells & Sons Ltd who manufacture wood burning stoves. The students will be exhibiting presentation boards and models to communicate their design concepts.
