Paul Ryan: New Works

"A combination of found, painted marks, photo-silkscreen imagery, constructed boat forms that have printed sails, all laid onto a found support, give me the opportunity to present several layers of language to the viewer.

It also represents another important aspect of making the work to me which is giving value for money for anyone wishing to own one of the works. An attention to detail alongside the freedom of gestural marks should deliver a more complete experience of what contemporary marine art could be."
