Club Solo

The Solo Contemporary Performance Forum, Falmouth University & The Poly Present Club Solo, an extraordinary evening of short solo performances created by Falmouth University’s BA Acting students.

Six students will perform stand up comedy, spoken word, soundscapes, physical theatre, football-chants, songs, poetry, and the odd bit of audience heckling. This eclectic night of solo performances from these emerging artists will include a historical clash of two female-led worlds (imagine May meets Dido) a youth’s challenging transition into adulthood, an elderly female offender on community service, a flamenco-infused childhood fantasy during the Spanish Civil war, a clash of cultural identity on the pitch and a woman whose body is out of control, with a tummy rumble and screams out loud.
