Capitalising on exclusive access to hundreds of private drawings and paintings, Cousins has created a unique portrait of this fascinatingly versatile and prolific artist as he’s never been seen before. 

Executive produced by Michael Moore (Bowling for Columbine), the passions, politics and power of this brilliant 20th-century showman are brought vividly to life, and the film explores how Welles’ genius still resonates in the age of Trump, more than 30 years after his death.
