WW1 // Young People's Writing Competition

Open to all young people between the age of 7 – 11 and 12 – 18, the competition is inviting entries – either a poem or a short prose piece or story – based on the theme of World War 1. Your piece could be about the soldiers or about the people at home, about the outbreak or the finish or the war, be dramatic, funny or sad. 

A selection of entries will be published in a booklet and there are prizes for the best entries in each category. Every entrant will receive a certificate and a copy of the booklet.
