Jane manages The Poly Guild, our contemporary gallery shop which stocks a curated range of original artwork, ceramics, prints and gifts created by talented local makers. As an experienced artist and ceramicist Jane also runs our exhibitions programme across two gallery spaces, and manages The Poly Pottery, offering a range of classes and workshops.

Nat is our Programme & Marketing Manager and is responsible for curating a wide range of film, theatre, comedy and talks at The Poly and letting the world know about them! With an MA in Film and Television from Falmouth University, she has a passion for unique, independent film and stand-up comedy.

Sam leads on facilities maintenance and technical support for our historic listed venue, and manages our thriving bar stocked with locally sourced drinks and snacks. He also runs the volunteer programme at The Poly, providing support and training across a broad range of activities and events. With a degree in fine art, Sam is a practicing artist and is passionate about contemporary art practices and spaces.

Jane B looks after everything back-office at The Poly, from finance to membership. With degrees in history and illustration and a background in marketing, communications and publishing, Jane is passionate about stories and pictures, and loves having a dig in the Falmouth History Archive. On days off she can be found drawing and foraging along the Cornish coast.

Karl is our head potter, responsible for delivering a range of courses, workshops and pottery services. Karl is an experienced ceramic maker specialising in Raku and Saggar firing. He has 30 years of teaching experience and welcomes potters of all abilities to our community pottery studio.

Millie has worked for theatres and companies such as Kneehigh, the Hall for Cornwall, o-region, WildWorks, and Little Angel Theatre, in many and varied roles including Stage Manager, Production Assistant, Administrator and Art Department Assistant. Most recently, she worked with The Rat Affair, touring RAT in early 2020 – a show retelling the story of the Pied Piper of Hamelin through live music and shadow puppetry. Alongside this, she has produced independent projects, and has managed to work in the ‘normal’ world too, most notably for The Guardian and business consultancy Just Add Water.
