Your piece could be about the soldiers or about the people at home, about the outbreak or the finish or the war, be dramatic, funny or sad. A selection of entries will be published in a booklet and there are prizes for the best entries in each category. Every entrant will receive a certificate and a copy of the booklet. Entries to be received by Nov 4th.More information
On Saturday November 3rd, during the run of the exhibition, we’ll be holding an Archive Open Day. There’ll be a chance to look at the archives, meet the volunteers and enthusiasts who run them, ask questions and find out how you could become involved. Plus a chance to find out how to look at the records of your own ancestors from that era – a fascinating journey in itself – or bring in memorabilia and find out more about it.More information
