Our volunteers are a vital part of our organisation, there are many different ways of getting involved from working on the box office, to selling raffle tickets or becoming a trustee.
Whatever your skills, time availability we would love to hear from you.
- Box Office
As a front of house box office assistant you will be the face of The Poly welcoming customers, selling tickets and answering the phone. Full training for this and all roles is provided and a member of staff is always there to help.
- Fire Warden
As an usher and fire warden you will take tickets and help people find their seats in the auditorium. You will be fully trained on Health and Safety procedures in case of an emergency.
- Poly Guild
If you are interested in Art and Design you may enjoy helping serve customers in our new store which features work exclusively created by local artists or those who attended University in Cornwall.
The Poly bar is a popular meeting place prior to the show and during the interval. Your role would be to make sure the bar is ready for service and then serve drinks to our customers during these times.
- Falmouth History Archive
Interested in Falmouth's history? Then come and help our history group to preserve our archive and carry out research.
Join our board as a Trustee or contribute to a working group.
Do you enjoy theatre, music and dance events? Would you like free tickets to some of our events? Would you like to help us grow our audiences here, by telling all your family, friends and networks about the wonderful events on offer at The Poly? Then apply to become one of our Cultivators. You will be invited to hear all about the up-and-coming shows at The Poly, and you will be supported by our Cultivator Co-ordinator.
