As a small, local charity, we rely almost entirely on sales, memberships, donations and our wonderful volunteers to keep our live arts and film programme, galleries, and community pottery going.
The pandemic and subsequent lockdowns were especially challenging for The Poly as we were unable to operate at our usual level. Following that, we had to make important upgrades to our beautiful listed building, which meant further periods of closure for some areas of operation. Since then, we have made great strides forward - building back up to a full and exciting programme of events, exhibitions and workshops. Nevertheless, the economic downturn continues to present a challenge.
With this in mind, anything you can donate will help our local venue keep going for the community and is hugely appreciated.
And if you are a UK taxpayer, with your permission we can make your generosity go 25% further by claiming Gift Aid on your donation.
