The first Cornish Slates event was such a roaring success that we’re doing it all again. A chance for new and emerging filmmakers to show Cornish work on a big screen, meet like-minded creators and discuss future projects. Whether you have some work that you'd like to share or want to see what Cornish filmmakers are currently producing, come along to this FREE event.
Submitting a film is entirely free and non-competitive.
The event will be held on the 25th April, kicking off with a 90 minute programme of short films screened in our cinema. This will be followed by a chance to informally network in the bar afterwards. It is an opportunity to get our heads together in one room, celebrate Cornish film and perhaps start future collaborations.
This event open for anyone to attend. You do NOT need to have to have submitted a film to attend the event.
Submission details
If you have a piece of work you’d like to show you can submit to submissions@cornishslates.co.uk by 5:00 pm, 28th March. The work needs to be produced in Cornwall and be under 20 mins in length. Submissions should include a password protected online screener link, a brief synopsis of the film, key creative talent and cast, and its completion date.
