Dirs. Malcolm Brabant, Trine Villeman | 2018 | 78 mins
'Malcolm is a Little Unwell' chronicles the descent into madness of award-winning foreign correspondent Malcolm Brabant after he receives a routine yellow fever vaccine required for an assignment in Africa.
He begins hallucinating and starts to believe he is the new Messiah, being directed by the ghosts of dead friends who, like him, covered the siege of Sarajevo.
“This documentary is stranger and far more powerful than most fiction - the story of an ordinary man suffering untold horror. Ultimately it is a story of courage - not only the courage to make this extraordinarily personal film, but the courage to fight back and rebuild his life and career.
Raw, scary, compelling - Documentary film-making at its most powerful” - Helen Lloyd
This screening will be accompanied by a Q&A with Malcolm Brabant.
