Experimental Drawing with Gum and Ink

Join graphic designer and artist Dave Pentin to learn a little-known image-making technique which creates beautiful marks and unexpected images via a process combining control and chance in equal measure! 

The session involves: a demo of the approach by Dave; attendees each building up an image through layering ink and gum Arabic; a simple process to reveal what lies beneath; a final discussion of the potential of this method. 

This workshop is part of StreetDraw24, raising awareness of and funds for St Petrocs’ work with Cornwall’s street homeless.
