Buried Pleasure

“The Cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek”

Joseph Campbell

A rumbunctious and scandalous adventure told through dance, live music and storytelling. Weaving the spinetingling rapture of being alive with the darkest disowned parts of our humanity, join us on a voyage deep into the inner caverns of our own souls. Be captivated by the swaggering hips of Gold Lusting Pirates, hear the hauntingly beautiful voice of the Sirens, and be mesmerised by the motion of majestic Sea Creatures of the deep.

The tale of Pirate Sharktooth and Pearl Snatcher is one of betrayal, longing and the reclaiming of the wild, instinctual, sensual feminine soul. Inspired by Celtic Folk stories and mythology, we invite you to gaze into the Mermaids mirror to catch a glimpse of your own reflection, touching your heart and soul.

Following the sell-out success of ‘Mycelium Magick’ by Nakedmoon Productions, this new swashbuckling production by a collective of local artists promises to offer a wild night to remember. Shilly Nakedmoon teaches Fusion Belly Dance Classes in Cornwall and is interested in expressing the mystical and sensual through movement. Her dance school 'Starlight Owls Dance Craft' has come together with other artists including fire and flow art performers, Burlesque dancers, Celtic Folk Musicians and more...!
