What we need to do >>

We currently operate from a 180 year old building which, though well maintained, is holding us back. We need to put in disabled access and we have a large upper floor gallery which can't be used to its full potential due to the condition of the floor. Our long-term plans are to renovate our lovely old building to create both a fully accessible vibrant local community hub and a state of the art venue.

Phase One of Our Transformation >>

Our transformation will take place over a number of phases. In Phase One, over the next year, we will be reinstating the library back to its original form allowing the public access for the first time in many years and dramatically improving the bar area.  These spaces can then be used both as communal and performance spaces making us more flexible in our offering to the community and providing additional central town meeting and entertaining spaces.  We will also be upgrading some of the technical aspects of the theatre to improve our offering to touring and local theatre companies, musicians and comedians.

We need your help >>

We have successfully secured initial grant funding from Cornwall Council to begin Phase One.  However, to draw down the money we need to secure matched funding.  We will be very grateful for donations from £1 to £1,000 (or even more) and have created a selection of exclusive rewards; click here to support us >> Transform The Poly with Crowdfunder.

Thank you very much for your support
