David Briggs performs The Phantom of the Opera

Held in the wonderful surroundings of All Saints Church in Falmouth, this is a rare opportunity to see the 1925 silent horror classic with improvised accompaniment on All Saints' wonderful Hele organ. David Briggs, the world renowned recitalist and Artist in Residence of St James Cathedral, Toronto, Canada, will lead you through the film in a unique screening experience.

In this iconic masterpiece, aspiring young opera singer Christine (Mary Philbin), discovers she has a mysterious admirer intent on helping her become a lead performer. This enigmatic masked presence is Erik, also known as the Phantom (played by the enigmatic Lon Chaney), a horribly disfigured recluse who lives underneath the Paris Opera House.
