To celebrate the release of his third studio album, ‘Black Holes & Heavy Souls’ Lee Robert and his band are taking to the stage for an exclusive show, performing their biggest show yet, on one of Falmouth’s grandest stages.
Lee Robert has spent three years at Falmouth University, as part of one of the AMATA music courses. During that time he has set off on two tours, created two studio albums (2017’s ‘The Making of a Bad Dream’ producing local hits such as ‘U3’ and ‘All The Love Songs’) and numerous collaborations. This is the perfect celebration of that work, and to celebrate the people that have joined the musical journey along the way.
The new album features the brand new single, exclusively revealed on Source FM in March (Simon Neild’s Inside Local Music show), ‘Thank God For The DJ’ and already fan favourite ‘Cinderella’. Robert’s music has been described as ‘heartfelt indie rock’ and will certainly translate to hugely anthemic from on The Poly’s stage.
Support comes from two of Falmouth’s most popular indie acts with Lemonlight bringing the funk and soul back into indie music, with grooving beats, and outrageous trumpet and the night opens with the soulful acoustic melodies of Mia & Tuesday.
The new album ‘Black Holes & Heavy Souls’ out May 25th. New single ‘Thank God For The DJ’ out April 13th. Find ‘Lee Robert’ on Spotify now! For more information see: www.leerobertbouzida.co.uk
