Transparent Theatre: Let's Talk About That

Let's Talk About That is the debut production from Transparent Theatre, a newly formed company consisting of graduates of Falmouth University. Through a series of 10-minute solo performances, these young performers use the theatre to explore and express ideas and topics that often go unspoken of, each in their own unique way. Pieces shown during the night range from a tounge-in-cheek spoken-word performance about football hooliganism to a satirical instructional video for how women should behave in a patriarchal society. Whether it be sexuality, language, politics or body-image, Transparent Theatre brings to the stage a wide variety of issues that are all tackled with complete honesty. Sometimes harrowing and tear-jerking, other times downright hilarious but always powerfully thought-provoking.
