Pop Up Poly turns our Main Gallery into temporary studio spaces for one week, showcasing the work of diverse artists and makers from across Cornwall. You will be able to see artists at work demonstrating their techniques, have the opportunity to take part in workshops and enjoy veggie food from Peasouk.

Drypoint print workshop

A two-hour drypoint workshop for all abilities, experimenting with a variety of drypoint techniques using a printing press. All materials are supplied, you may wish to bring inspiration to work from. Refreshments available by Nicola from Peasouk

Linocut print workshop
Tuesday 22nd May 10.30 –
12.30
Introduction to linocut, linocut is a relief printmaking
technique and in two hours, you can create your own original print good enough
to frame. After demonstrating the technique, we’ll help you cut a design into a
lino block and then ink and print it on our small “nipping press,”£15 inclusive
of materials. Max 5 places.

Monoprint workshop
Tuesday 22nd May 1.30–3.30 + Wednesday 23rd May 1.30-3.30
A two-hour workshop for beginners and more experianced printmakers. You will explore some of the techniques of monoprinting using a press, and be able to take home your finished prints. Maximum of 6 places. All materials supplied, but you can bring your own inspiration such as sketch, photo or favourite object. Refreshments are available.

A two hour mixed ability workshop where you will mix clay's to produce decorative effects in your pinch pots.All materials are provided, please wear appropriate clothing.
