Calais Children: A Case to be Answered with Q&A

Dir. Sue Clayton | UK 2018 | 62 min

As the Calais jungle was set to be razed in October 2016, there were over 1900 unaccompanied minors stranded there, many of whom might have a legal case to enter the UK. Would the UK accept them? And if not, what would be their fate? Sue Clayton takes on the fight to get them to safety. The documentary screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Sue Clayton.

The documentary served as evidence when the case of one of the unaccompanied minors from Calais went to the High Court in February 2018, and follows young people over the year since they left the Jungle with interviews with Lord Dubs, volunteer groups, and lawyers.

Tickets: £10 adult / £8 concession (inc. Poly Fund)
