The Florida Project

Sean Baker's (TANGERINE) latest film is a candyfloss-coloured drama about life in an extended-stay motel just outside Disneyland. Starring Willem Dafoe and six-year-old newcomer Brooklynn Prince, The Florida Project follows six-year-old Moonee (Prince) and her rebellious mother Halley (Bria Vinaite) over the course of a single summer.

This year she's exploring the lost women of science. Expect facts, puns and an ear trumpet attached to a whiskey bottle. It's science meets funny.

Ethel Smyth - Grasp the Nettle

A new play with music performed by contralto Lucy Stevens and pianist Elizabeth Marcus. Following her hugely successful productions Kathleen Ferrier Whattalife! and Shakespeare In Song which are currently touring the UK, professional contralto and actress, Lucy Stevens has developed a new show for 2018. Ethel Smyth: Grasp the Nettle to coincide with and celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Representation of the People Act 1918, the decisive step in the political emancipation of women in the UK getting the vote.
