The Poly Pottery’s weekly drop-in sessions are back up and running for 2026!
Open 3 - 8pm every Friday, pop down to the pottery and use the studio space for just £10 an hour.
Whether you’re a thrower looking for a wheel to rent, or a hand builder looking to make in a community space, these self-led sessions are perfect for anyone wanting to develop their skills and catch up on some quality studio time!
- 12.5kg bags of clay available for purchase from just £20
- 3 wheels available for use * pre-booking via email highly recommended! *
- Firings from £12 per shelf
- Metal and wooden tools, knives, batts, whirlers/banding wheels, sponges, paint brushes, etc, all free to use as you make!
*These sessions are best suited for people with some experience with their preferred method of making. Although this is not a taught session, there is always a member of staff on hand to answer any questions and give some guidance. *

Directions to The Poly Pottery
The Pottery is at the back of The Poly on New Street. Keeping The Poly building on your right, walk down the sloping path past the 'stage door' sign. The door to the pottery is on the corner of the building you're passing on your left as you walk down the path.
