Two brilliant folk acts take over the evening in the Poly Library on Saturday 10th Jan from 5PM! Trea and Elizabeth Freeborn will offer wonderful tunes of old and new to raise funds for a very special 16mm graduate short film, “Prepared Piano”.
The film deals with topics that affect us all, loss and loneliness, identity and delusion. It’s about Mr Tannhauser, who is a hired helping hand - he provides lonely widows familiar company by impersonating their late husbands when life becomes too much to handle.
Written by Solomon Bowden (Prince of Tears) and starring Danny Webb (Alien3, Locke, No End, Humans) as the lead, the film will be shot on expired 16mm film kindly donated by Mark Jenkin.
This event aims to raise funds towards the processing costs of shooting on celluloid, production design, locations and catering. If you want to follow along with the production, check out @preparedpianofilm on Instagram.
