Discover Mixed Media

During this playful and experimental workshop, you will explore a range of water-based materials including; acrylic, ink, collage, pastels and charcoal and learn how to layer these up to create mixed media artworks full of texture and depth. 

You will create your own collage papers by guided mark-making exercises and through the process of gelli- printing. You will then layer these papers up with other selected materials onto wooden panels to create a series of striking, abstract artworks. 

This mixed media workshop will help you let go of perfectionism and find the joy that can be found when various materials are combined and layered. 

The workshop will be a chance for you to connect with your creative side in a relaxed and inspiring space. Whether you are an experienced artist or just getting started, you will explore the joy of mixed media and try new tools and approaches.

10.30 - 4.30pm (with a 1 hour lunch break)

Price includes all materials, tools & equipment

Each participant will have their own large table to work on.
