Alicia's 2025 exhibition shows an eclectic mix of fishing boats, harbours and seascapes. Summer's vivid colours and deep shadows are an inspiration for her work, all of which is new this year.
Alicia's paintings are inspired by the beautiful surroundings in which she lives, and reflect her work this summer around the Cornish coastline. The sea is a particular continuing source of ideas for new canvases, and amongst Alicia's work you will find many local scenes which may be familiar to you, and some, perhaps more out-of-the-way places, which might be new. Mooring her our own boat on the beautiful Helford River, many of Alicia's paintings are views from a seaward aspect, which she hopes makes her work unusual and distinctive.
