This course is open to all abilities, whether you're a novice or an experienced potter looking to expand your skills on the wheel.
The course is run by one of our potters who will teach you the basics of pottery throwing, starting with throwing basic cylinders and then developing your skills to help you make more complicated forms, including bowls and mugs, as well as turning, firing, and glazing techniques.
Please be aware that this is quite a physical workshop and requires extensive use of lower back, wrist, finger, arm and shoulder muscles.
All materials and equipment provided.

POTTERY WORKSHOP: THROWING
When: Tuesday, 2pm-4pm or 6.30pm-8.30pm

Where: The Poly Pottery (at the back of The Poly, accessed from New Street)
Duration: four weeks

Cost: £184,
A £1 Poly Fund payment is added to each ticket sold. A 50p booking fee is also applied per ticket for online and telephone transactions.
