Ángela, a deaf woman, is expecting a baby with her hearing partner, Héctor. The pregnancy brings her fears about motherhood to the surface, particularly her concerns about how she will communicate with her daughter. When the baby arrives, it disrupts the couple’s relationship and forces Ángela to confront the challenges of raising a child in a world that isn’t built for her.
Winner of the 27th Panorama Audience Award at Berlinale.
