Tammy Adams is a transgender songwriter and producer living and working in Cornwall, England.
Best known for her distinctive falsetto vocals and atmospheric production aesthetic, Tammy first came to public attention in 2014 when she was commissioned to compose the soundtrack the Universal Pictures feature film ‘The Knife That Killed Me’.
Soon after Tammy became integrated with the emerging modern classical scene in Berlin, leading to solo concert performances in Europe and Asia, and also supporting artists such as ‘Nils Frahm’, ‘A Winged Victory For The Sullen’ and ‘Hauschka’.
To date Tammy has released 10 full length albums as well as a number of Ep’s, remixes and singles under the name 'Tom Adams'. The music has received international airplay on Radio and TV in Europe, Asia, Australia and America. Bob Boilen (NPR) included ‘Silence’ in his top 10 records of 2017, describing it as ‘poignant, atmospheric music that seems to slow time… If you’re looking for a quiet record for these harrowing times, this is it.’
Among other things, Music from Tammy’s albums has been used in various Films, TV shows including programs in national cinema, netflix, BBC and Amazon. Her music has also been featured in commercials, working with brands such as Jaguar / Landrover, The UEFA Europa League, Azzaro Perfume and Carling Beer.
Support by Lilac's Daughter - a singer-songwriter originally from Copenhagen, Denmark, whose music weaves haunting melodies with raw poetic lyricism. Through reflective and emotionally layered song writing, she explores themes such as transformation, relationships, and escapism. With an intimate ethereal voice and deeply emotive stage presence, Lilac's Daughter draws listeners into a world that feels both tender and timeless.
