Many of the plants growing abundantly around us as ‘weeds’ are an amazing source of medicine that can support us in building resilient good health. Celebrating the launch of the Seed SistAs’ Sensory Herb Handbook, artist Belle Benfield is bringing you an evening of herbal delights.
There will be a screening of the documentary Juliette of the Herbs, which follows Juliette de Baracli Levy: herbalist, author, breeder of Afghan hounds, friend of the Gypsies. She dedicated her life to travelling in search of herbal wisdom, and is the pioneer of holistic veterinary medicine. The film will be followed by a live Q&A with Belle, exploring the ways that herbal medicine can empower you in taking charge of your own healthcare. Special edition herbal cocktails will be available from the apothecary bar.
If you’re called to explore the power of your local medicinal plants, this is an evening not to be missed.
