Join SeaVoice for an evening where ocean, culture, and adventure converge.
Following the release of SeaVoice’s 6th volume, WaterWomxn, we gather to share voices and visions from the sea.
The evening begins with a special introduction from SeaVoice, reflecting on the journeys behind WaterWomxn . Then, ocean-inspired poet Fi Read from the Mor Poets Group will share verses shaped by sea-bound adventures.
Next, acclaimed boat designer, builder, and sailor Hanneke Boon takes the stage to share her stories of voyages at sea and the vessels that have carried her — and countless others — across open waters.
To close, we’ll dive into a preview and conversation about the upcoming screening of Women and the Wind at The Poly, a film that follows three women setting sail across the Atlantic on a 50-year-old catamaran. Plus, attendees of this event will receive discounted tickets to the screening.
Throughout the night, there will be SeaVoice merch, conversations, and opportunities to connect with your own adventurous spirit, guided by these inspiring WaterWomxn.
All revenue from ticket sales will go towards the Women & the Wind Foundation, who facilitate women-led, environmentally focused adventure projects through fiscal sponsorship, mentorship, community, sustainability counseling, and other resources.
Tickets: £5/£3.50/£3.00
A £1 Poly Fund payment is added to each ticket sold. A 50p booking fee is also applied per ticket for online and telephone transactions.
