Poetry & Jazz Workshop with Hannah Copley & Lotus Code

Exploring Poetry and Music is a dynamic day of creative workshops led by award-winning poet Hannah Copley, alongside four outstanding jazz musicians from the Anglo-Japanese ensemble Lotus Code.

Participants can choose to focus on either poetry or music, taking part in sessions that explore the rich and surprising ways these two art forms intersect.

The workshops will explore both written/composed and improvised material, offering space to experiment individually and collaboratively, discovering how poetry and music can spark creative dialogue. Dawing on their extensive experience as performers, writers, composers, and educators, Hannah Copley, Ed Jones, Rebecca Nash, Toku, and Takashi Sugawa will guide participants through a day of imaginative exploration and artistic discovery.
