POSTPONED: A Sense of Being: Disjointed. Transient. Incomplete.

The exhibition draws inspiration from the everyday dissonance of being, simply the exposure to our fragmented and temporal world. 61 artists artistically and geographically grounded in the South West concerns themselves throughout this exhibition with a plethora of philosophies that are integral to being human.

Seeking to explicate the limitless potential of the medium, re-positioning and retooling discourse in the contemporary, be an agency through a broad range of contexts, the show invites audiences to experience and discover the joy of that brief encounter with works of art; surfacing emotions that transcends the mundane everyday; the catalyst that sparks contemplation.

As a collective, the exhibition aims to immerse the viewer through the variety of processes & delivery with works ranging from print, tapestry to installations. In a bid to engage the wider community, we’ve an exciting programme lined up that ranges from an arts workshop, musical performances, to a curator’s tour, so do follow our social media accounts, check our website or watch for posters & flyers around town closer to the exhibition date.

VOID presents A Sense of Being: Disjointed. Transient. Incomplete.
