The aim of the Workshop will be to find out more about the artistic process of three famous painters of Art History and create one A5 card per each different style.
For the first workshop, we will explore the techniques of three artists who operated between the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century: Seurat (Pointillism), Matisse (Fauvism) and Picasso (Cubism).
The workshop will last 2 hours and will be
divided into 3 sections-time of 40 minutes
each. In each section there will be a brief
introduction about the painter and his
artistic movement; after that, the
attendees will be asked to paint an A5
card - copying a subject provided - using
the technique and method of the artist
explored earlier. All materials (cards,
paint and brushes) will be provided. No
particular skills are required.
