We love to hear and tell good stories, especially when they are true. Loosely based on the popular Moth Story Slam, Stand and Deliver is all about that. Join your host, Gary Cordingley, for an evening of laughter, tears, edge of the seat drama or just outright wonder as members of the audience stand and deliver five minute true stories from their own lives
Don’t worry if you don’t have a story to share. You can just sit and listen to others tell theirs. Who knows, maybe an idea will pop into your head.
Stories are based on a theme for the evening. The theme for this event is Life’s lessons.
Life sometimes has a blunt way of teaching us a lesson, through experience. This can, at times, be painful and at other times funny or scary. Have you ever found yourself out of your depth and wondering why you decided that whatever it was you were doing was a good idea until life told you it wasn’t? If you have, wrap it up into a five minute story and share it with us. We would love to hear it.
Tell your friends, grab your tickets and join us in the Poly library for a fun evening of true stories as told by you, the audience.
