The Nettle Dress with Recorded Interview (12A)

Dir. Dylan Howitt | 2023 | 70 mins plus Q&A/post show discussion

Textile artist Allan Brown spends seven years making a dress by hand just from the fibre of locally foraged stinging nettles.

This is ‘hedgerow couture’, the greenest of slow fashion and also his medicine.

It's how he survives the death of his wife and finds a beautiful way to honour her.

A modern-day fairytale and hymn to the healing power of nature and slow craft.

Followed by a pre-recorded interview with Director Dylan Howitt and artist Allan Brown.

The Nettle Dress with Recorded Interview (12A)

Friday 29th September, 8.00pm

Tickets: £8.50/£7/£6.50

A £1 Poly Fund payment is added to each ticket sold.
