StreetDraw24 - THE DRAW

StreetDraw24 is a free outdoor 24-hour drawing event and exhibition in its 6th year in Falmouth. Our 2023 draw runs from noon Friday 29th to noon Saturday 30th September and everyone is welcome! 

Each year artists, students, art-enthusiasts, and amateurs of all ages get out onto the streets of Falmouth armed with something to draw with and something to draw on, and capture what they see. Each year drawers are invited to donate images to StreetDraw24 and feature in our exhibition at The Poly, running this year from 17-21 October. 

There’s no cost to participate, no need to sign up and you can take part for as long or short a time as you like. You don’t even have to draw – painting, collage, printmaking, rubbings are all welcome! Participation packs will be available from The Poly during the draw (although you don’t need one to take part) and there will be optional opportunities to join informal group draws. These include the glorious Dawn Draw at Pendennis Point – keep an eye on StreetDraw24’s website and social media for details. 

Work being donated can be handed in - Friday 29th September until 4pm and Saturday 30th September 10:30am - 4pm at The Poly. All work is then sold! 

Once again StreetDraw24 will be raising funds to support St Petrocs’ work with the increasing number of people facing homelessness in Cornwall. Once again StreetDraw24 is proud to be partnering with The Poly and Form Falmouth and you – we can’t wait to see what you decide to draw!
