Forbidden Artefacts – A Hands-On History Adventure!
Brought to you by Swashbuckling Cornwall in association with the Museum of Wheels.
Step into the past and ignite your child's imagination in this unique, interactive workshop.
Forbidden Artefacts invites young adventurers to explore real and replica artefacts from around the world and across human history.
This is their chance to touch, draw, and let their creativity run wild as they discover the stories behind curious objects from ancient times to mysterious cultures, all without a screen.
Each child will get to recreate what they see before them using the drawing materials provided — blending art, history, and a dash of make-believe.
All children must be accompanied by an adult (max 1 adult per 3 children).
Each participating child will need a ticket.
Parents can choose to sit with their child at the main table or relax nearby in our Parent Corner. While the children dive into a world of wonder, grown-ups can enjoy the atmosphere and watch the creative sparks fly!
Whether your child is a budding artist, a young historian, or simply curious about the world, this workshop is a brilliant way to fuel their curiosity and encourage creative thinking.
