In Search of Goldoni

A Beyond Face Production in association with Theatre Royal Plymouth and Impossible Producing.

Written and Performed by Saikat Ahamed and directed by Alix Harris

A holiday to beautiful Venice.

Saikat is busy dragging his family around the winding cobbled streets, eating every flavour of gelato, serenading gondoliers, and obsessively thinking about a bloke called Carlo Goldoni, some Venetian twins and the death of his dad.

Come with Saikat as he takes us through the streets of Venice to the hospital wards of Romford and into the inner workings of his brain as he desperately searches for shade from the storm in his mind.

In Search of Goldoni is a new comedic solo show that asks the big questions: what is life really about, what happens when we leave this earth and what the hell is granita menthe?

Recommended ages 12+
