Arming Nelson’s Navy

A talk with demonstrations about small arms used in naval combat before & during the Napoleonic wars. 

Battle onboard ship during the age of sail was bloody and brutal affair and require a wide range of weapons to keep the flag raised at the stern. Whether a naval vessel, packet ship or merchantman all need to defend themselves on the high seas. 

Following the talk there will be chance to take a closer look at some of the weapons and yes you can handle (under supervision)
