Dir. Charlotte Bill | 2024 | 41 mins plus Q&A | English
A documentary telling the stories of many people trying to save and protect Dartmoor, this incredible film takes us from tree plant-ing initiatives on the moor to restore nature all the way to London in the supreme court where the legal battle to defend wild camping rages on. Hear from activists, authors, volunteers, charity trustees and many others all fighting their fight for a more accessible and thriving Dartmoor.
The film will be followed by a Q&A with some of the people involved with the film to answer any and all questions you might have about the film and Dartmoor. The following will be here after the screening for the Q&A:
Charlotte Bill, documentary director and animator. Founder member of Clapham Film Unit.
Lewis Winks, activist for land access rights with The Stars are for Everyone and Right to Roam.
Holly Astle, illustrator and activist with Right to Roam Kernow.
Supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund
In collaboration with Right to Roam Kernow.
