Can Art Change the World?

Truth, the environment, social inclusion, mental health, migration, political engagement: all pressing issues and all areas where arts practitioners, organisations and campaigners are active.

But do these creative efforts make a difference and if so how can we amplify their impact?

Join a provocative exploration of the role of art in disrupted times with experts, practitioners and activists, and help us consider whether in Cornwall, a region full of potential and problems, the arts can be part of the answer.

This talk is part of StreetDraw24 helping raise awareness of and funds for St Petrocs’ work with Cornwall’s street homeless.

Join a provocative exploration of the role of art in disrupted times with experts, practitioners and activists, and help us consider whether in Cornwall, a region full of potential and problems, the arts can be part of the answer.

The panelists will be: Manda Brookman - activist, social innovator, disruptor; Misha Curson - Curator, The Eden Project; Jayne Howard - Founder and Director, Arts Well; Alan Murray - Deputy Vice Chancellor and Head of Falmouth School of Art at Falmouth University; Louis Netter - illustrator, satirist, reportage artist and social researcher.
