This six session throwing course takes place on Tuesday evenings between 18:30 and 20:30. This course is open to all abilities, whether you're a novice potter or are looking to hone your skills on the wheel.
Our head potter Karl will teach you the basics of pottery throwing, starting with throwing basic cylinders and then developing your skills to help you make more complicated forms - covering bowls, jugs and mugs, as well as turning, firing and glazing techniques. Our class size for this course is limited to three spaces - so there will be plenty of one-to-one tuition.
This course has been designed with social distancing and current government guidance in mind. If you have any questions about this course, please get in touch with our head potter Karl at karl@thepoly.org.
