Knight School: Broadsword

Try your hand at swinging a sword like the Knights on a long-forgotten battlefield or parry the blows of a creature of darkness. 

This workshop will put you through your paces with a range of footwork, stances, attacks, and defences that form the foundation of stage and screen combat fighting. We will be building on skills covered in our previous Taster for a Tenner workshops but also recapping so no previous experience is necessary. 

Suitable for 16 plus, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

This is a physical workshop as such a basic level of fitness it required to take part.

What is stage/screen combat:

Stage/Screen combat is the sort of fighting you see on stage and screen, where we create the illusion of combat and conflict without anyone getting hurt!
