Life Drawing at The Poly
Life Drawing is an essential and enjoyable part of the artist’s journey. It provides drawing practice in proportion, perspective and composition. Capturing the human form using different techniques and artistic mediums can express a diverse spectrum of moods, feelings and emotions beautifully. These valuable skills are transferable across the breadth of the artist’s work whatever their chosen subject.
Practice drawing the figure in a range of media in a relaxed, supported environment.
The class is part instructed by a local artist with guided exercises and opportunities to draw freely.
Experienced artists, improvers and beginners welcome with extra support available from the tutor if required.
Location:
This class will take place at The Poly
What to Bring:
Drawing materials and paper will be provided. Students can work in their own sketchbooks and bring their own drawing materials if they wish. Refreshments provided during the break.
