Dir. Anupam Sharma | 2018 Australia | 104 mins | Cert TBC (15)
Follow Australian ultra-runner and politician Pat Farmer on his 4,647km Spirit Of India run, which took him from the southernmost tip of India to its northern border over two gruelling months of 80km days and extreme heat, cold, snow and rain.
Beyond the usual sports film, Anupam Sharma’s camera sticks close to the action, focusing on the dramas both on the road and within Pat’s support team, a likeable motley crew led by the inspirational and dedicated old-school Aussie Farmer, who stops at nothing to achieve his incredible goal.
Make sure to book in for Pea Souk's special pop up restaurant before the film in our bar and library for £8.00 - spaces are limited, and our last pop up restaurant sold out! Arrive between 18:00 and 18:30 for this amazing Indian menu:
Benghali dahl with spice roasted aubergines
Jewelled coconut rice pilaf with cashews
Coconut, lime and coriander sambhar
Pineapple chutney
Kachumber salad with pomegranate seeds
