RCPS PEOPLE'S ARCHIVE

The RCPS People’s Archive is a new collection at The Poly. This collection will comprise documents, photographs and oral histories donated by members of the public which will add to the story of the Poly and the people that use it.

The People’s Archive is seeking photographs and documents from family collections and photo albums that have a connection to the Poly. These can be printed or digital copies of family images, posters and leaflets, or diary entries from a journal.

The Archive is particularly interested in collecting an oral history of the RCPS. There will be volunteers ready with audio recorders to capture memories and family stories of events at The Poly, from memorable theatre productions and exhibitions to workshops and public lectures.

The Poly is also on the search for a missing minute book from 1845-1857. It has been missing since the 1970’s and the Poly would dearly love to find it and complete the collection.
