Firstly, all the staff and trustees of The Poly would like to wish you good health and good spirits, and look forward to welcoming you back to our local venue when brighter days return.
Naturally we remain closed and will continue to be so until official guidance recommends it is safe for us to reopen. It is still too early for us to give any indication of when this might be. Our primary concern will always be the health and safety of our audience, volunteers, staff, members, and the communities we serve, and our commitment to this is unwavering.
During this period we’re operating with a very reduced staff team and observing homeworking guidance as much as possible. Mailboxes and voicemails are being monitored, but please bear with us if your query takes a little longer than usual to be answered. Thank you for your patience - we will get back to you.
All future events are postponed until further notice. We continue to work behind the scenes with our artists, performers and promoters to reschedule dates and share the ways they are making their work available to you at home. Existing tickets will be valid for all new dates and we will be in touch as updates become available.
We have emailed everyone with tickets for the affected events. If you booked your tickets in person at the box office, we might not have your contact details - please get in touch on firstname.lastname@example.org. If you would prefer to call on 01326 319461, please do leave a message - we will get back to you.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who is supporting The Poly during our closure through donating tickets, taking credit notes or joining as members. We have been deeply moved by the kind messages and acts of support we have received. We wanted a way to say thank you, so have launched a new campaign to keep all our spirits up - our Windows of Thanks. We do understand that in these uncertain times you might need to request a refund. Refunds take just a few moments by phone but can only be done from the office, which is being visited once or twice a week. Please email email@example.com with your transaction number and phone number, and we will call you to process your refund on our next visit to the office.
