Have a look at the calendar text here to see what's coming up.
An exhibition of drawings from Falmouth’s streets - created over a
24-hour period from noon 8th to noon 9th October 2021 - by artists, students,
hobbyists and amateurs who love to draw.
All work is for sale with funds raised go toward St Petrocs’
important work with people facing homelessness in Cornwall. A calendar
featuring work from StreetDraw24 2020 will also be available from the Poly.
This years’ exhibition will invite us all to question where in our
town we would go if we had to spend 24 hours outside with nowhere else to go
and encourages us to look differently at a place we know and love with fresh
eyes.
StreetDraw24 is in its fourth year here in Falmouth and through
the 24-hour drawing events and exhibitions seeks to do two things. To encourage
people to see where they live differently and to raise awareness of the
issues surrounding homelessness here in Cornwall as well as funds to
support the work of St Petrocs.
If you would like to participate or volunteer to help sign up
on Facebook or email streetdraw24@gmail.com to
find out more.
This years StreetDraw24 is supported by The Poly, FEAST and Cornwall Community Foundation.
