The Jade Alicia Gall – Jesse Molins Express is an exciting sax and guitar led group, powered by the classic keyboard / organ and drums rhythm section. Back together after a two-year break, and excited to visit Jazz at the Poly for the second time, they bring a mix of originals and an eclectic mix of classic and lesser known jazz material.

Jade Gall is a highly celebrated UK saxophonist and flautist, hailed as having a “big, strong tenor sound with a beautiful sense of melody and swing…a musician to look out for in the future” by top UK trumpeter Steve Waterman. She has performed alongside top-class musicians from around the world, including: Allison Adams Tucker, Claire Martin, Clare Teal, Jason Rebello and Duncan Lamont; and has featured on BBC Radio broadcasts.

Jesse Molins has been a key part of several of Plymouths most exciting jazz groups, playing with  Alan Barnes, Gordon Campbell and Bruce Adams, Claire Sweeney. He has performed Scott Stroman’s Jazz Mass at Exeter Cathedral, and to rave reviews played with the Dave Hankin Big Band -

"Jaw-droppingly good...the finest large-scale jazz unit the city has ever had" -  Plymouth Herald.
