Margie Ricardo: Cornwall, my Home

In her exhibition, Cornwall, my Home, Margie has tried to illustrate the spiritual as well as the physical essence of the River Fal. She looks for a place where the busy world is hushed, and where she can find peace in solitude. There Margie will sketch what she sees, and then take her drawings back to her studio. 

She thinks about where she has been, draws from her sketches, lays out her colours and tries to recreate the beauty and the peace of that place.
